Andrea Grimaldo
Currently, I am a senior at George Washington University pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs and Philosophy.
Passionate about congressional relations and the world of foreign affairs, I have interned on Capitol Hill and am currently interning at the Council on Foreign Relations. I value the fostering of cross-border relationships as well as the preservation and advocacy of human rights. I aspire to work directly with legislation and foreign policy.
As both a first-generation American and a first-generation college student from a low-income household, I believe a quality education should be accessible to all as it is truly transformative. As an alumna of the founding class of YES Prep Northbrook High School, the education I received motivated me to pursue my most ambitious goals and has shaped who I am today.
During my free time, I find ways to practice my appreciation for the art of storytelling through mediums of podcasts, dance, and film.
