The Ganas Network
A professional development network for charter school alumni engaged in community
The Ganas Network strives to equip early-career professionals with the critical skills and community to thrive in their personal and professional lives while organizing, nurturing, and amplifying their voices to lead change towards a more equitable education system
The Spanish verb “Ganar” means “to win.” Ganas, a derivative of Ganar, is a noun that translates to “a strong desire.”
Over the next two years, The Ganas Network is set to become a multistate network of 150 charter school alumni trained and activated to promote the importance of public charter schools and their vital place within the fabric of K-12 education.
The Ganas Network Fellowship acts as an accelerator for diverse, early-career professionals whose lives were positively impacted by their public charter school experience by offering them the opportunity to participate in a program aimed at building their career skills, growing their networks, and leading change in policy affecting public charter schools. Fellows will also receive a $1,000 stipend to invest in themselves.
