Andrea Hernandez Gonzalez

I am Andrea Hernandez, a rising Senior at the University of Houston majoring in Biology and YES Prep alumna.

With experience in dentistry as a dental assistant and volunteer, I bring support to people in my community through health. As a shadowing student, I am learning more about the different fields dentists can be a part of.

Through my perseverance, I hope to develop as a professional and grow personally to become a great healthcare provider and advocate for low-income students and communities.

I support charter schools as, thanks to YES Prep Gulfton, I found resources that helped me afford to attend college, where I have begun making my path towards becoming a dentist.
