Luis Aguilar

Hi, my name is Luis Aguilar and I am a passionate mechanical engineering student at UT Tyler. I have experience in CAD software, design, research at Rice University, and 3D printing. Currently, I am working as an engineering intern for Enbridge Inc.

I aspire to work in any of the following fields; aerospace, automotive, medical devices, and oil and gas. I am a fast learner and I can adapt quickly to any work environment. Key values for me are integrity, excellence, hard work, and perseverance.

In my free time I’ve learned how to repair cars with my dad and I enjoy staying active through sports activities.

Graduating from Yes Prep Southwest impacted my success because all my experiences there developed my character and discipline which have helped me get to where I am today.
