At the age of 18 my life took a whole 360% turn when I was diagnosed with Lupis, and it has completely altered my way of thinking. After I graduated from DSST: GVR HS I thought I had my whole life planned; I wanted to go to College and become a Veterinarian to save animals. But since I became a patient, I wanted to find the value in life, and I started with my son. I didn’t want to leave this world with nothing of mine. I want to be able to show my son the beautiful side of life and be an advocate for the issues that I am beyond passionate about like immigration, school shootings, and gun control laws.
