Aimee Valdez

Aimee Valdez is a proud DSST Public Schools – Montview alum. After high school, she went to Colorado State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies as well as a second bachelor’s degree in Languages, Literatures, and Cultures with a concentration in Spanish.

After earning her degrees, she began working as a case manager supporting youth who had experienced various barriers preventing them from being successful in academic and/or work settings. As a case manager, she supported youth with re-engaging in school or preparing them for the workforce.

Eventually, Aimee went back to school and recently earned a master’s degree in Learning Development and Family Sciences from the University of Colorado Denver. Now, she is residing in Colorado and works for an Ed-Tech company, Guild, as a Bilingual Student Success Coach where she supports working adults who are going back to school.
