Gustavo Alvarez

Gustavo Alvarez graduated from Yes Prep North Forest. Graduating from a charter school that focused on college readiness instilled in him a strong motivation to pursue higher education.

He is now an undergraduate studying Electrical Engineering and Physics. Having both research and industry experience, his primary interests are in analog design, signal processing, feedback control systems, and RF. His main goal is to become a research scientist or research engineer that is able to work in a laboratory setting with engineering applications. Working with his father at construction sites inspired him to pursue a degree that let him get hands-on work.

He enjoys welding, soccer, and playing guitar in his free time.
